Shipping policy

Where we ship from

Every order ships from our shop in Oregon, USA. Devices and kits are built to order; small parts are stocked and ready.

Processing time

Built-to-order devices and kits (the Ropener, GlassCalibur, and VAL boards) ship within 1–2 weeks of your order. In-stock parts and accessories ship within a few business days. If your order combines both, everything ships together when the built items are ready.

Shipping rates and destinations

Rates and available shipping methods are calculated at checkout based on your address. We ship internationally — if checkout won't accept your address, email daniel@valarsystems.com and we'll see what we can do.

International orders — duties prepaid (DDP)

At checkout, international customers can select DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping: all import duties and taxes are collected upfront, so your package arrives with no surprise customs fees and no delays at the border — the price you pay at checkout is the total price. Nearly all of our international customers choose this, and we recommend it. If you choose a standard (non-DDP) rate instead, any duties or import taxes are assessed by your country on arrival and are your responsibility.

Tracking

You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.

Lost, damaged, or wrong-address orders

If your order arrives damaged or goes missing in transit, email us and we'll make it right. If you spot an address mistake after ordering, contact us as soon as possible — we can fix it any time before the order ships.
